Have you ever wondered what a plate of cooked shrimps tastes like??? 

Yea, i said shrimps !! 

Let's bring it home. The western world knows it as Shrimps, but we Africans know it as CRAYFISH !!! 

Yes, that's what it is called, and i am proud to say, in my local dialect it is known as Ayiya or Oporo !!! ( I am proudly Ibo if you must know..) 

Now, back to my earlier question, 

Have you ever wondered what a plate of cooked crayfish tastes like ?? 

In my bid to spice it up, i could add some Stockfish to it, yea,... it's called okporoko in my local dialect and it has this strong flavor and aroma it adds to your meal !!! 

Garnished with Stockfish and a little of scent leaf to spice it up, ginger, onions, seasoning, and a pinch of salt in a little volume of water depending on the quantity of shrimps you're cooking , cook for 3 minutes on your gas cooker and your shrimps are ready to be served !!! 

WAIT !!!!

First, take a deep breath, draw in the wonderful aroma that's almost intoxicating,.. yessss !!! that's it!! 

Now take a spoonful, slowly,.... into your mouth.
